Liked the look of this spoiler from the start. I prefer the raised pedestal look compared to the blade-style ones, though I realize I may be in the minority on this. Although Cervini's shows theirs with a matte finish underneath, I wanted to go all gloss black.
I ordered the spoiler a little before Christmas. It came a little before Christmas, but, the box had a giant hole in it. You could see right through to the spoiler which was visibly damaged. :frusty: The driver suggested I refuse delivery and call Cervini's. I did that and spoke with them. They said I did the right thing to refuse delivery and had a new one on the way within 24 hours. :first:
The new one survived the journey unharmed. Luckily, my car is regular black and my neighbor is a professional painter for a local big-time auto dealer chain. He painted it for me and graciously helped me install it.
The installation was a bit tricky since my car had no spoiler at all before this one. It took us a while but we managed to get it on solidly. There is little that can prepare you for the sight/sound of a drill going into your brand new car's trunk lid.
Overall, I am pretty happy with it. At some angles I like it better than others. I feel like it makes my wheels look smaller (17's) than they did before it was installed. Trust me, if I had the budget for bigger wheels I would get them. Perhaps down the road ...
Hope you enjoy the pics. Thanks to Zach_Cervinis for the help along the way.
