Speaker upgrades- Tweeter replacement

I want to upgrade my speakers in my doors and the tweeters in the A pillars. Do you guys Know if I need to add a crossover box to do the tweeter correctly or since the car is already wired with tweeters the crossover box is unnecessary?

You will have to run a wire to the pillar where the tweeters are. They are wired off the middle sized speaker now, not a separate dedicated wire from the amp/head unit
