Yea, no. $55K, not $52K, to start, isn't even a Z51.I am the ford guy but I also love corvettes. So lets say the gt350 with the "R" package is 75K. Is it faster than corvette? Corvette Stingray base price is 52K and that's including Brembo brakes and all the good stuff. Lets don't forget the new bold look. I'm just wonder if you going to throw 60K+ for the GT350 why not buy corvette? Plus give about 2 years and every 5th car on the road will be the stang..
:ford:
Ford mentioned that it is intentionally trying to make it sound like an "American V8," which obviously implies more like a CPC rather than FPC V8, which I think is a bit of a shame -- trading away some of the exotic/unique aural qualities of a FPC to sound more like any other lumpier "Murican V8, apparently to appeal/appease some subset of xenophobes or whatever in traditional Mustang ranks. Want a V8 Mustang to sound like any other lumpy American V8? Then get a Mustang with a regular lumpy American V8.Why does that not sound like the typical flat plane crank? The extra cubes?
Agreed.I typically don't like large spoiler, or wings, but the GT350R's wing is just growing on me every day. From the back, you can see the design and it lets you know you have a near supercar in front of you.
