the only thing that I could think of 'like a lady' is this. Just slightly wide of the mark...

If I want to drive in an aggressive mood:
1) The Beastie Boys
2) Metallica (Black album or pre-Black-album)
3) Run/DMC
4) L.L. Cool J ("Mama said knock you out!")

When I am upbeat and want something upbeat:
1) Twenty One Pilots (esp. Blurry Face album)
2) Keith Urban ("Who wouldn't wanna be me?" ... play it, loud, and I dare you not to feel good)
3) Alanis Morissette (basically any album)

When I'm just trying to chill:
1) The Smashing Pumpkins (esp. Gish, Siamese Dream, Pisces Iscariot, and Mellon Collie)
2) Madonna's "Ray of Light" album.... Srsly, if you haven't listened to the whole thing... do it.
3) Enya (but only if I'm ready to fall asleep, haha)

Obviously my tastes vary... and I'm obviously in my 40's... and I despise the majority of current 'hip hop' music. It panders to the lowest scum of the earth. Run/DMC and The Beastie Boys are classic and don't resort to any of that, never did. Run/DMC are *the* pioneers of rap.
im happy i got to see beastie boys several times back in the day...

I'm jealous! I was too young and my parents too conservative to let me go to any kind of concert like that. Well I was also like 11 years old when Licensed to Ill came out. I borrowed the tape from a classmate and I had to hide it from my parents and listen to it on headphones.

Curious, how did you end up w/ two '99 GTs?

100% man. Glad you made it out of that wreck! I had a long gap between muscle cars myself. I did have a 2001 GT around 2012. It was old and by its nature slow :) But man, nothing, and I really mean nothing, has the beautiful exhaust sound of a 2v 4.6L through 40-series Flowmasters. There are more "badass" sounding cars, but just beautiful V8 rumble, that somehow was a magic combo.

Can't do the no cats thing here due to smog inspection annually and I just don't wanna deal with all that mess for very few horsepower increase. I also don't like choking on my own exhaust fumes while waiting in line at Taco Bell, haha. But I can only imagine how loud that thing was!!!
