Son dinged me

Hey all. My son dinged my Mustang pretty good. Paintless repair folks are saying they cannot make it perfectly smooth. I'm thinking I have to go to a body shop to get this smoothed out. Before I do that, just want to see if anyone has thoughts as to repair and cost on this:

Easy PDR repair. I got a dent on the body line just under that. Long story short, PDR didn't work. Then guy I brought it too had three tries to paint match, no joy. Now I'm up a creak for $1,600 for a proper repair job at a place that knows WTF they're doing. :(

Just keep that area dirty, you won't notice a thing.
