Unfortunately that is why I jumped out of the deal. But my lack of risk could be someone else's reward. I just save gambling for when I'm in Vegas. If a personal, or even bank check would have been okay, then I may have gone through with it. When the Money order was the only option I ran.

That is where the insurance come in. On the other hand, I can send you a money order, and that is that. You cash it and act like you have never heard of me and disappear into the night. And I have zero protection. You have the option to require a signature and proof of delivery. PP will back that up any day of the week.

Honestly I don't sell enough online to know what's best. I have had 2 issues with my Paypal account getting hacked in the past. After the second time and taking a lot of work to get it straightened out I said I would never use it again. I have also read many horrible instances of sellers getting screwed on the whims of the buyer. My limited research led me to using USPS money orders. Postal fraud is a federal offense both ways.

If anyone is getting screwed on this it will be me. I appreciate the skepticism. What good alternatives are there to Paypal, from a seller point of view?

Short of paypal there is Chase pay.. or something to that effect. But there is a reason nearly every online business use paypal. There is protection for both parties. I will PP you $200, and all you to do through paypal is send me an invoice. Then I pay it. Once you ship it, you update that ticket with the tracking number. Then paypal will also track it. If I don't receive it, then the insurance that you took out on the item will cover the loss. The big thing is always get insurance and require a signature.
