I bought a Ecoboost Convertible in July 2023 and sold it a few days ago to upgrade to a 2022 GT Coupe. Best decision ever. Yeah, I took an L on the price, but this GT makes up for so much of it.

I found myself wanting more power, and if I added more mods on the Ecoboost it would cost me a few grand to barely touch the power of a GT. Plus the oh-so-sweet sound of a V8

Nice!! You made a great choice! As someone that owns two convertible mustangs I hope you enjoy that beautiful droptop and all that extra V8 oomph. :) I love mine.

At least you didn't go back and swap out the ecoboost for something electric like the Mach E that will giddy up quickly but then die on your way home after running out of battery life.

Congrats and good decision! I first had a V6 because I thought that is all I really needed. Switched to the V8 (a 2016 GT Coupe) after a little while and have never looked back. Currently on my third V8.

The 2016 is my favorite year for the GT. Love the hood turn signals and the pony on the inside of the hood. Er, you might call it boot, I understand.

Love it! Congrats 🎉🎊….i had a 2020 gt, traded in and ordeed a 2020 pp2. I still missed it even though I love my pp2. Enjoy it and best luck. C attached pic.

You do that in Oz too?

We got the name bonnet from the French, which means cover.
Boot I understand originates from the 17th century and was a storage box at the back of a horse and carriage for your boots.

That sound...the coyote is a fantastic engine. Put on an H-pipe, you'll love it more!

Sound a good idea. Is there a droning noise in the cabin though? I have a performance exhaust on my other V8 car and you can't talk in the cabin.

no, with OEM mufflers, there is no drone. And with Active Exhaust, it can still be quiet!
