Now that I'm deeper into it, i think it's very doable. It's actually easiest on stock grilles.

Pop the pony off, drill one hole in the center of the grille to route wires, install glow sheet, reattach pony with 3M double sided adhesive.

I have everything needed to install on my car, I'll play with it this week. It shouldn't be difficult to tap into the fogs or the turn signal DRLs, that way it'd be on whenever you want. And the wires would be tucked away neatly if you were to take the bumper cover off in the future.

Damn thats awesome!! I'll definitely be purchasing one once they are ready. Kind of liking the one with the double light outline the best. :headbang:

The center white light should be black out. ONLY the perimeter line must be visible. I know it is difficult because of the small area between legs, but I believe will be more nicer. You can try it with photoshop or a some photo editor program.

This is looking great. I'm liking the double line as well but either works for me. Glad I can throw out some idea about the LED strip to trigger an even better idea. I agree with trying to dim that portion under the horses belly. Its the first thing you see instead of the awesome pony. I'm interested in this when the final product is available. Just make sure to do a detailed step by step with pictures for the less techy guys like myself haha.
