For one thing, blue lights visible from the outside of the car while in operation are illegal in most states. Police take that pretty seriously, especially in the grill area. The other thing for me, the white pony looks a bit bright. I liked the idea of a softer glow, the pony outline was nice to me.

How is the install, have never messed with the pony on the bumper at all yet

Yeah pretty much any colored forward facing light is illegal except white or amber in most states. Also liked the idea of the outline

Hardest part is getting the stock pony off. You pretty much have to break all the tabs. CJPP has a video, I believe.

Ugh.... I am going to wait till people have these on their car then decide if this is something I want. I am more aiming for my pony outlined but if this happened to look pretty cool I may pull the string!
