I also see a ton of rentals. It doesn't bother me one bit, I've even had a few people ask why mine seems so different than their rental. Oh you know because the engine is twice as big is typically my answer.

I got my first taste of the s550 in a rental and it was beautiful

A Mustang GT rental in CA back in May (Thanks Avis for the upgrade.) Gave me a serious case of Mustang fever. That's why there's a 2017 sitting out in the garage right now.

If you drive to Key West, you can see so many S550's which makes you think it's sales are similar to that of Toyota Camry. Most of them are Eco/V6's convertibles, very few GT's. I bet most of the Eco/V6's are rentals thus base models. There's no denying that S550's are everywhere in south FL area when compared to other places I visit.

RENTALS.....the florida weather makes most tourist grab the "cool cars" when they are down here...they don't want to drive those econo shit boxes...

It really doesn't bother me as I own a GT and feel they are fewer of those than the rental fleets driving around..

Yeah, when we were leaving the keys a couple of months ago, there was decent traffic coming in, and I'll swear like every 4th car was a Mustang (and 3/4 of those was a non-GT convertible).

I live in the central Florida area and also see a ton of S550s. Like so already mentioned GTs are a bit more rare here as well. Plus most of the GTs I've seen had some sort of mods.

Question:
Is there a way to tell EB from V6? I have yet to figure out the difference and it annoys me not knowing, lol.

V6 has a tribar pony emblem at the back while the Ecoboost has just the pony emblem. This is the simplest way to differentiate. Also base V6's can easily be identified by their horrible looking 17" wheels.

Must not have seen me!

They are all rentals. Huge hispanic tourism destination (wealthy families from South America, Spain, etc..)

They all come to America and want to drive a Mustang/Camaro (have seen a ton of V6 6G convertible Camaro's recently, almost as many as the convertible ecoboost)

It's funny. I love it, because when I drive past in my car (completely black and fairly loud) they all realize they aren't driving a proper Mustang.

BUT! I did see one Shelby GT-H last week. Pretty cool, that guy did the rental game right.

That being said there are tons of GT's and GT350s down here, I see at least one other GT a day and have seen prob 10 different GT350's, based of color combos, and have seen some of those multiple times just driving around.

Well yeah, you must have not seen Roxxy rolling around, and now Sasha! Though I will admit I have not seen a lot of GT350' myself...unless its show. But I have not been to car shows of late.

Everything below a base GT falls in the cheap car range price wise. Considering a 2017 Honda Civic costs the same as a base V6/Ecoboost.
My fully loaded Turbo was lot more $ than a base GT. This forum really cracks me up, all you people scraping together a car payment putting down others to make yourself feel more important. For you information, my car payment is literally a days pay so think about who you are insulting before posting this garbage.

FYI, Honda Civic type R are selling for 50k. My brother in-law works at a Honda dealership and they have sold 7 of them for 50k each. Base GT he says.
