Slowly adding the mods...

Have owned the car for a week and finally got the windows tinted and added the Steeda hood shocks. I ordered from Steeda Friday morning, and were delivered to me on Saturday. Installed them yesterday. Really like the way the hood is raised now compared to the prop bar. Now for my next mod......

Thanks...ya, just what I don't need. lol. Plus my 68 needs stuff done to it as well...just paid for a $3900 mod; a new engine for her...

My next mod will probably be an axle back exhaust for it...

Haha, yup. I feel you on that man. I had a 2008 dodge charger that I had for 6 years, and I've always wanted a mustang. After getting my mustang a little over 3 months ago, I've found myself going absolutely nuts with mods. I finally feel more at peace now that I've gotten the blower installed. Just a few more things here and there and I'll just be sitting back and enjoying everyone else.

Should start a build thread eventually if you find yourself getting carried away, lol. :cheers:

Haha, yup. I feel you on that man. I had a 2008 dodge charger that I had for 6 years, and I've always wanted a mustang. After getting my mustang a little over 3 months ago, I've found myself going absolutely nuts with mods. I finally feel more at peace now that I've gotten the blower installed. Went with the Roush supercharger. I'm actually sitting in the performance shop right now getting the calibration upgrade.

I've been looking at that with my car...might be something i will do down the road. Like to take it to a respectable dealer who works on it...

Yep. Lucky for me, there's a highly reputable performance shop out here that I've taken my car to for like 99% of the things I've had done.

Any pics of your car so far?

EDIT: Ohh yeah just remembered your original post in another thread. Can't wait to see how things turn out man. Love that blue too

Yep. I remember seeing them now . Any exhausts in particular that you're looking at? I'm planning to get out this weekend for some videos with my roush axlebacks if it's not pouring down raining. Likes to rain here just on weekends, so we'll see.

I'm actually leaning towards the roush axle backs myself, but keep the resonator

I'm just a little scared about cutting on the stock exhaust...what if I don't like the sound..lol

Haha. Yeah. They're VERY loud man. I just heard it on the dyno a few minutes ago (they're gonna upload to youtube soon). Only thing that kind of bothers me though is the raspiness. I was looking at some corsa extremes last night to see if they were just as loud and less raspy, but still got some more looking to do. The good thing is that you can control how loud you want them while driving, so I don't think it could really get "too loud" unless you want it to, lol.

The mod bug is real. And fun.

If you don't want to cut the axleback MBRP makes a great exhaust for the price.
