Slowest GT out there?

Let me start out by saying I love this car... I have a a GT Premium Auto, 3.15, 20". I've tried every possible mode/acceleration method. My best 0-60 time on the track app is 5.2. Any thoughts. Do I have the slowest GT out there?

While that probably is the case, one would think they're pretty consistent car to car since they're all programmed the same. I've never tried mine but with the horrible air we have right now (high temps and humidity), I'm sure it would be similar.

I have seen a ton of stock auto's get 4.6-4.7. GT PP getting 5.0-5.3. The 3.73's make it tough to get consistent launches without blowing the tires off or hopping like a mofo (for a stock car with no IRS bushing supports).

On the manual, it all comes down to driver ability, more so vs. the A6.

I second that.

There was a thread somewhere in here that showed that the 0-60 track app was registering slower than the actual time via an accelerometer. Something about the app not being able to read at 60 mph in second gear.

So you're probably faster than the 5.2 its registering.

Thanks emh87 for teaching me what DA means. It was 2982, and after plugging in a 13.4 (for kicks) in the 1/4, the corrected time was 12.8.

Did you swap in the 3.31s? If not, you have either the 3.15s or the optioned 3.55s. What surface are you trying to run on?

closer to 95-99, but yes, close.

My best is a 4.7 (only once), usually I am at 4.9 to 5.0 due to traction. 5.2 is not bad.

The 3.15 gears and 20" wheels are working against you. Mine is limited greatly by "all season" tires.
