Catbacks already delete the resonator. They're telling him not to delete the resonator with an axle back, which he agreed is probably too loud for him.

You do make a good point that he might want to look into just a resonator delete and keep the factory mufflers though.

Yep, I was assuming he was looking at just aftermarket mufflers, which is the only option if he wants to keep the resonator, and that was what I was getting at too about just the H-pipe. I know for me, just an H-pipe resonator delete will be enough change to be happy. Plus it gets rid of about 20 lbs from that gigantic resonator.

Well I got the car out today after installing the Corsa Touring Black axle back exhaust late last night and to me it sounds great. Inside the car it really doesn't sound much louder than stock (wife didn't make mention of it at all) but outside it's exhibits that nice Corsa growl when you get on it and even burbles a bit upon deceleration. Also as most of us know Corsa products are not cheap when it comes to price or quality but in my view it was worth every penny.
And so after about 10 months of deliberating on which (Touring type sound) system to get including the X or H-pipe options I bit the bullet on the Corsa and am glad I did, getting a great BF deal also helps.

MRT Interceptor axleback is a deep muscle car tone. It sounds similar to the Steeda axleback. This system is on my short list. I've had them in my previous '10 GT and found it to be slightly louder (maybe turned up 1 or 2 notches from stock) and definitely deeper. Good luck in your decision.

I keep coming back to the steeda AB's, Or Corsa Touring AB's OR Borla Touring are my top 3....I have heard the MF Street is a bit deep and droney compared to Borla touring??

Well IMOP if you can afford the Corsa just do it, but thats coming from someone who's now an owner. I also considered the Roush AB and the Borla touring, both good systems.

Yes sir, and l retained my stock resonator. Installation was pretty straight forward, I used my 18V Ryobi sawzall with some WD-40 and it cut right through the stock pipes. Just remember to support the resonator with something as there won't anything to support it after cutting.
The only thing I need to do now is to adjust the right rear tip as its a bit off centered but that can be accomplished by slotting the bolt hole in the rear hanger bracket.

Oh yeah, love it. I probably would have went with the Corsa Sport CB but in the end I know I would have had to listen to my wife constantly complain that it's "too loud".
So to keep the peace it would end up being the touring, and it's not that big of a deal for me as I'm so far removed from my younger years when that's all I would have had and wanted, been there and done that.

I've owned Borla and you can't go wrong there, quality systems. FWIW I got my Corsa AB for under $1000 during BF. Never pay the advertised price.
