Hello folks,
Mentioned this before but it still bugs me a bit...
I don't know if this is a problem specific to the Ecoboost. What I experience is a "plasticy" rattle when accelerating. I.e. when the engine starts to get a bit lively/noisy. It's louder the louder the engine gets.
It seems to be coming from the centre console area. Almost as if its underneath the handbrake or further forward underneath the radio somewhere. For a while I thought it was just the change I keep in the ash tray thing but definitely not that.
It's not always there, and although it's fairly subtle, its definitely noticeable. Feels like something is loose or there is something that naturally makes a rattle in the interior.
Anyway, on the off chance that someone has experienced something similar I wanted to mention.
Cheers
