Ive recently purchased a 2016 GT and was wanting to put the biggest tire possible (without modding anything) on the rear. Hopefully 315 will fit. my questions is what size rim is best, was thinking 18 x 10.5 would work but would appreciate any recommendations. Also, Is there any offset needed when ordering the rims? Thanks in advance

Well first thing is what size wheel you are after

if your after a 18" setup then ya a 305 is the widest I have done myself on that setup.

19s have been a 345 tire on the rear ( normally 325, 305 for most member setups)

20s have been 315s easily.

Let me know if I can help you out.

Yes, you do need to have specific offset, especially when going with a tire as wide as a 315. Wrong offset and you could either be rubbing or have that 315 sticking out past the wheel opening.

Paul at Need4SpeedMotors (see above) is the man. Check out the aftermarket wheel/tire thread as well for ideas on what your after and what fitment/specs you like best.

Thanks to Paul at Need4Speed, I am running 315s with no issue at all. Car is still on stock suspension with a 1" drop coming later. Wheel specs including offset in signature.

20s will be a combo for 275/315 tires primarily. Depending on the style we can confirm the offsets for you that will work best.

FYI only.... just my 2 cents. I went with BMR 1 inch front drag springs, only, no rears.
Love it and get compliments. I can't attach a picture... ...ddeeerrrr!, sorry. LOL

Have you placed the pic in flickr then transferred it over?
