Mines Ingot silver though, not Guard.
Ah sorry, awful colour. Too late to change? ... joke.

That's true, I haven't seen many in Ingot, looks good to my eye.

There was a professional photographer there but he was my +1. :D

I know he took a load of shots but I haven't seen them & he wouldn't know who's car was who's. Obviously he got a load of mine, a bunch of the cars that were in my group (yellow) and possibly some of the group prior to mine (red?).

He's got a website so will put them up there.

He said he took around 50 shots of on-track action.

Or we could organise our own track day I know the owner of bookatrack and would be up for sorting a Mustang track day, did it a few times with 911 and they were incredible days. Of course not FREE though!
Johnny would be happy to take our money :) Silverstone is best suited to those who don't feel mega-comfortable on-track as it's very safe.

Cadwell Park is where the men will be sorted from the boys

Snetterton 300 is a great circuit too as is Donington as the 'middle ground'. Spoiled for choice really.

Brands is the one I want to do. Finally got my arse in gear to book a novice day in March and they were fully booked! I had 'thought' about booking months before!

Careful of brands because it is a very tight circuit with very little run off in places and where there is run off, it's just grass and then barrier.

If you want to enjoy your car more and carry on learning then give Bedford Autodrome a try mate. Plenty of run off (in the middle of an airfield similar to silverstone) with some great corners and straights

EDIT: On the GT circuit and open pit lane format https://msvtbooking.motorsportvision.co.uk/msvt-ebasket/1-make-booking.aspx?ProductID=19594

Hi there

The only issue after yesterdays track day the odd rear clunk I used to get from the rear (differential) is now not so odd and a rather regular occurrence. :(

When I got my car it had a slight/soft thud which did not bother me as I read many of them do it and it was not so noticeable. Of course with BMR CB005 and Steeda differential bushes the soft thud became more of a clunk but was quiet and still only under gear changes, again rather normal for the car.

However now I am getting a rather loud clunk, easy to get the car to do it it as well, move forward in 1st, stick it in reverse move backwards and CLUNK. Can hear it both inside and outside the car!

Either something has loosened up or my differential was not very well set at the factory. Tempted to get it up on ramps tonight to check all is tight under there. Apart from the more obvious clunk drive is fine. :)

Thanks, had a really great morning.

The driving was obviously very enjoyable, the tour of the Wing was great and the cars on display in the pit garages were awesome .... loved the new and old GT and the GT40.

If there are going to be similar events in the future what would be the chances of supplementing the driving with some Q and A sessions or something? I found myself leaving with loads of questions about the Mustang (design/production/logistics etc) and Ford in general. I don't know if enough people would be interested in that kind of thing though? Just a thought.
