side mirror caps

Any oe know how to take these off, I'm planning g to paint them black

Bumping this. Can anyone advise on how to take the cap off? It's not obvious based on my fiddling.

They pop off pretty easy - I used a small plastic scraper, an popped it in the joint at the bottom outer corner, then worked it around to the front. I took them off to plasti-dip them. Much easier than I thought it would be to get them off.

In the first pic, I'm pushing straight in to get a bit of separation.

In the second pic, I'm pushing down to get under the lip.

In the third pic, I'm twisting down, and it's starting to pop off. Continue this around and it'll pop right off.
