Shuting off tri-bar front lights?

I just want them off if I'm sitting in a parking lot, not moving or driving.
Looks like I won't be able to realize this dream so I'll let it go.

Yea, they can't be turned off because of DRL regulations.
On some offroad vehicles, you can turn DRL off such as my FJ Cruiser.
You wanna be seen so it's a good thing.

Because... in new times... DRLs are becoming more like a norm.... There is no stringent law... as of now... but yes companies are encouraged to put DRLs in cars... look at any model .. all have DRLS now
That doesn't answer my question as to why in some markets the daytime running lights will never be on.

That doesn't answer my question as to why in some markets the daytime running lights will never be on.
In the UK for the RHD they are disconnected, for OZ I think the same
the running lights are on for Canada I think, which will be on mine as I am getting an Canadian spec

I have a drive in movie theater near me and i would want to shut them off so they stop having to tape foil over my head lights
