Yea, they started out as silver badges with the bright red fill. I had an idea to try tinting them with the same charcoal candy I used for my lenses. Surprisingly, the color came out pretty close to Ruby Red. The badges are actually a little bit darker than the car, but not enough to really tell. So far, a lot of people think they are factory and want to know what kind of "special edition" it is. Even the guys at the local Ford dealership were thrown off by it.

I decided to go driver side of the grille since the GT350 uses the opposite side. While I don't mind going with some GT350 "inspired" items, I am not trying to make a clone. So I figured why not use the correct side!

It baffles me Ford still puts it on the wrong side on the GT350. It has nothing to do with the air intake now.

This is one of the parts of my car that makes it so special. Most people I see make custom plaques put weird nicknames on it but I wanted a personable and factory looking plaque.

Don't know if it's technically a custom emblem, but I swapped out the stock GT decklid for a Drake panel witht a GT faux "gas cap" emblem on it:
