Scoche magic mounts work great. I have 4 of them in the car currently. They come off fine if you know how to remove 3M double sided tape (hair dryer + dental floss). They are very secure, and extremely convenient.

Yup, for now me too. GPS goes there when in use for now as well. I've got my thumb drive in that spot to the left, and the GPS is powered by the little cigarette lighter adapter thingiemabob to the right, so it keeps it from sliding around pinning it between the two. That'll do until I get my Proclip in the mail, tracking says I should have it by Saturday.

I have 2 Scosche Magic Mounts, I'm only using 1 tho.. it's the suction cup thingy, I place it on my windshield right behind the rear view mirror, I use it for filming adventures in Mexico.

I use this same mount in the same location. I run a GPS app on the phone when I'm driving so that I have a digital speedometer that everyone complains about wanting. Would be great if Ford added that function to our center console screen, but the one on my cell phone works great and is easy to just glance at and not distract my driving. I can also use the "Google Now" function to respond to a text message hands free since it's totally voice activated.

^^ A-1 on the Scosche... The magnet is super strong and the adhesive that the mount uses is also super bonded.

Just drop the phone in the holder and it is connected. The cable is tucked away in a trim gap and plugged in at the bottom of the console. ProClip stuff.

I have a quad lock case that mounts onto many different types of securing devices. I use the windshield mount while in my car and click it onto my bike mounting device when riding. They make lots of different mounts for just about any spot you can think of. I had my mountain bike on some crazy trails and it held awesome. I can literally pick my road bike up by my phone. I don't have any pics but can take some if anybody wants to see some.

Thats the one I am currently using and so far I like it a lot. Looking at buying the same one but with the wireless charger built into the holder. Very sturdy mount
