You’ve already made your decision not to buy but here are some things to consider. Not all used muscle cars are thrashed on. On the road I see more Prius drivers driving their cars like idiots and muscle cars being driven as if it’s grandma going to church. Not every Mustang driver is a racer either. If the car you want is in good shape and runs right, and is the right price, go for it. Just make sure it has a warranty for peace of mind

My Advice:
Check out the classifieds on this forum
expand your search and use online cars.com and cargurus.com
Ford Certified pre-owned with the extra warranty are great
Ford Corporate vehicles are also a good value, usually low miles and in good shape
keep looking until you are totally comfortable with what you are committing to buy
