Does the convertible come with a shock tower brace standard?
I do not know that all convertibles do, I know for sure that the GT convertibles all have the Strut Tower Brace... anyone with an Ecoboost or V6 comment here?

Just a note for any guy that wants to add the Strut Tower Brace and bracket to his or her ride.
The rear brace portion, Part No. FR3Z-16K038-A
The Strut Tower Brace, Part No. FR3Z-16A200-A
New Strut Tower Nuts, Part No. W712334-S442
You can reuse the original nuts (4) but I purchased new ones.

PS: Addition of the two Brace combo really tightens up the front end and gives you a firm confidant ride. Torque specs are 26 ft. lbs. for the (4) Rear Brace section bolts and 41 ft. lbs. for the (4) strut Tower Nuts. Hopes this helps you guys out.

I can state that an Ecoboost Premium Convertible Performance Package does not have a strut tower brace from the factory. The firewall K brace is included but not the strut bar.

There appears to be a few details missing from specific models that need to be discovered.

The same is true with my GT + 20" wheels. I have the upper K brace but not the strut tower bar.
Yet. ;)

I read somewhere that there is some kind of extra brace or something added to the ones with the 20" factory wheels that makes the strut tower brace not fit. Just an FYI.

If the GT verts do come with the K brace and strut tower braces, would the verts be better off with an aftermarket upgrade? Are they stronger than stock like the sway bars are?

I have a GT Premium Vert with only 50th appearance as an option, and both k and strut tower braces.
