Shifter Squeak! Video inside

Hey all, whenever the car is driven around for a bit and ambient temps are above 70, the shifter is squeaky going into 1st and 2nd. Did some searching and looks like Ford just replaces the assembly. Thinking I’ll go MGW if that’s the case but has anyone successfully fixed this DIY?

It's all fun and games until the 1-2 shift sounds like a mattress commercial on an IKEA bedframe!

Just go MGW and don't look back (even if OEM didn't squeak.) The dust boot installation is the only challenge but it's manageable with patience, persistence, and a little cussing.
