Yea, I was swayed away from the Barton.
I ordered the mgw this afternoon. It seems like it has a cult following, and that doesn't happen for average products. Build quality seems very impressive.
So where do we go to shave our heads and get tattoos of the logo?

MGW all day. It is very precise and not stiff at all. Especially broken in. Well worth the price. I mean you use the shifter every time you drive the car. It could of been 1k for the shifter and I still probably would of bought it. Best mod to date. Its even a tiny bit better then the 2.9 whipple i put on the car.

we just released this and they are the best looking and feeling knobs i have EVER seen...the base is solid steel that is triple chromed. I will have MGW logo also in a few weeks....they are not online yet but available.

I am purchasing this soon and want one of the new knobs, how do I select this on your website? You posted not available online, can I just order in the comments box? Also, if I purchase today and you have a black friday sale, will you honor it and refund the difference? Are the knobs able to be custom engraved? I would like "Car RamRod."

I placed an order. Couldn't wait any longer. Your online videos and presented engineering prowess and quality are a real selling point. Never would have heard of you if it wasn't for mustang6g. You may want to consider selling to cjponyparts, I go to them first for everything because of their install videos. Just an idea. Almost got a Barton before learning what MGW existed.

shifter is one of those mods where you get to enjoy it every single second in the car. Not that expensive but goes a long way. Same thing with audio.

Combine an MGW with clutch spring delete and new transmission fluid and the car drives like a dream

Well I just loaded up with an MGW shifter, what transmission fluid is recommended?

I used royal purple synchromax. Made a big difference and I'm still using the stock shifter

lot of us have swapped out to royal purple synchromax with good results. I noticed it removed a lot of the notchiness during shifts
