Hello to the Group,

Has anyone purchase apparel from Racing Division Inc Los Angeles? I placed an order with them, a several weeks ago, they are not responding to any of my emails and no notice of shipping my order. I thought I would ask Here before filing a dispute with my credit card company.

Appreciate any feedback.

No experience from them specifically, but the good news is you have between 60-120 days (depending on your state) to initiate a chargeback. I believe that time starts from the time you receive your statement. Might be worth giving them another few weeks if you really want the gear. Chargebacks can take FOREVER and the credit card company usually wants to see evidence you tried to contact them multiple times over a reasonable amount time.

edit to add: Maybe check your spam filter in case their email reply’s are going there. Also, were you able to reach anyone by phone? It might be worth a call. If nothing else you can submit the call log to the CC company as further evidence that you tried to reach them.

Thank you for your response. You are correct, I have 60 days from the next statement date. The credit card company is required to provide provisional credit immediately and has 30 days resolve a dispute after a consumer filing a form regulation E.

I am not concerned with not being made whole on the transaction, was just hoping they are normally not responsive and slow to ship.

Thank you again for your time in responding.
