After a drive yesterday the paint was covered in I don't know what! Woke early and did a full clay bar detail.

Also took time to remove the clutch spring while I was at it. Looking forward to the test run this morning!

Finally got a chance to install my radar detector with blend mount. Used a mirror tap for power. Very easy install, maybe 15min.

I went with a Beltronics RX-65, mainly as it has laser capability and was in my price range. The blue series sells for $300 while this, exactly the same but red display, sells for $150. Would have loved to get the blue but I'm all in for $250.







Next up, CAI install!

MMR CAI installed!



Took about an hour. A few observations:

Don't bother taking the wheel well clips out to move th horn. Hit it with a numbe 8 ratcheting wrench from the top instead.

Getting th tube in is a tight fit! Push it far towards the turbo side and it'll go.

You need a 10mm Allen wrench to secure the bolts to the engine! My biggest was an 8mm so off to the store tomorrow...

On the road: sounds amazing! Really opens it up and the blow off sound is great. It also feels like the throttle response is improved, but that could be placebo effect... need to drive more than 5 minutes.
