I want to upgrade my Shaker Pro system, mostly to get more volume and bass out of some of my older media that was ripped from CDs into MP3s that I'm playing on a USB stick. Newer media sounds fine, older media that wasn't "digitally remastered" has lower volume and not enough bass to sound good (although they sounded fine in my 2012 Volkswagen CC Lux Limited :shrug

So I went to a local car audio shop and asked if they could just add a better amp or replace the existing subwoofer with an amplified subwoofer. They asked if I knew the specs for the existing amp and speakers...so I'm asking here.
What is the power output of the OEM amplifier(s)? What are the speakers rated for? Can I just swap out amps or do I need to replace amps, subwoofers, and speakers in order to match the power output of any replacement amps that I want?
Any advice is welcome.
