I've got the Shaker Pro system in my car and was unloading something from the trunk the other day with the ignition off and noticed a hissing nose. Did some investigating and it's coming from the subwoofer. I decided to try out some different scenarios as to why it might be powered up, moved the key far enough away that the doors wouldn't lock, closed the trunk and hopped inside and closed the doors and it never stopped.

Has anyone else noticed this?

My second question is do your back speakers put out much sound? Mine are terribly quiet even when faded all the way to the rear, they barely produce any sound. It's quite annoying as it seems all the sound comes from the front only.

My shaker pro system is the same. The back speakers barely produce any sound. There is someone on here that added a small amp to just the rears and claims it made a huge difference. I haven't been brave enough to try that.

Haven't heard a hissing from the amp.

Actually I drive in the moment a Fusion loaner with base radio and that sounds by far better than my Shaker Pro. The Focus before that sounded better too. When and if I get my car back I will check on it again. But with all issues I have to deal with, it doesn't surprise me a bit that the standard radio has a better sound system IMO.

Yea. For some reason when the lights come on. The sub speaker is powered.
