Hey Guys.
Looking for guidance on Shock Stiffness - for my car, and in general.
NA 2015 Mustang GT PP
Stock-ish power level
Basic MT82 mods, stock clutch
BMR Suspension
RTR Adjustable shocks+struts (Allegedly Kony Yellow rebrands… made in Holland).
295/35/20 NT555G2 @ 26PSI
Getting consistent 2.31-2.38 60ft times on the street with 91 octane in 7000 DA. 1/4s clutch slip, 3000rpm launch control, Track mode, AT off. 5.5-6.0s 0-60.
What’s the proper way to set Shock stiffness? All 4 shocks and struts are at full soft minus 1/4 turn. It’s not hooking well in 1st, so I’ve always thought full soft is correct, and they should be stiffened once it hooks well.
Is this correct, or should they be stiffer?
