So my ecoboost with 190 miles just put up a service engine soon light (looks like a yellow lit pipe with a bend in it). I read in the manual that this has to do with emissions, but I work the whole weekend and have to drive the car and can't take it in until Monday. Will this negatively effect the engine? I tried doing a vehicle diagnostic report but I'm not able to do it until the vehicle has more than 200 miles on it. Pretty disappointed in such a new car having issues so early on.

Also, I have the updated shaker pro audio system, and I know the engine noise is artificially brought into the cabin through the speakers. On the drivers side, the two nearest speakers sometimes buzz in low to mid rpm's--sort of like a buzzing and crackling noise as if their was some sort of malfunction. (hard to replicate though).

Aghh!!!! Help me!

Did you figure it out? I got the same at 201 miles as did a few people. It's not limited to the ecoboost so we know its not the engine but maybe electrical or emissions as it happened on a few GTs.

I changed my gas out to 91 (highest in CA) with Chevron and cleared the code. Put on 100 miles and so far nothing. we'll see if it comes back
