So a couple things;
The problem still hasn't come back, but I haven't done anything mechanically to fix it. I want to take the car to the track again to see if either the problem is solved or if I can provoke it to start again to hopefully figure out the issue.
But another issue has developed; the steering wheel has a bit of play in it, kinda similar to what happened with this GT350. I noticed it yesterday when I got into the car after it was parked, but it seemed to lessen (but not go away) after driving for a little bit, which leads me to thing it 's a loose bolt on the steering shaft that goes away when the engine heats up the compartment.
I'm getting the oil changed tomorrow, so I'll call them and ask if they can look at the steering shaft/assembly for play and maybe tighten the Torx nuts if that's where the play is.
