£300 for the rears is crazy cheap
i take it, they will flash in amber? and not red

http://www.mocgb.net/forums/showthread.php?72228-Sequential-indicators
You are correct, they will be amber in all 3, and brakes will be red. Depending on which the car is told to do obviously.
The front sequentials will all flash amber when indicating in the tri bars, they've essentially fully mimicked the US cars.

I thought the same, I'd been in discussion with another company - first company to do it over here they wanted £1250 for them, I told them to F'off.

Think it's so cheap because this company have somewhat mastered the art in getting it done quickly and effectively, whereas the company that wanted 1250 wanted my car for 1 week.... (Also the chap that got them done there has since had the light in his car 'blow' - so glad I dodged that one - he then took it to this company, and apparently all the parts were shoddy!)

Anyway; In short, their work looks killed good, the £300 is just a provisional price at the moment, it'll be around that (could be more, could be less). But obviously - that doesn't effect you with your US car with their sequentials (lucky git!)

Mine just stay on, dont flash, got enough flashing indicators :D
Have never seem any pics or video of the shark lights flashing in the US. I know you can buy a kit that changes the colour of them and they do flash have seem that, and that can be done in the UK
My rears are brilliant and flash in Red not Amber, have seem videos of people who sent their lights to Poland to get the lights converted, I would think you have less chance of getting nicked if they flash in Amber and not Red, but it was a big job as I have 2 light systems fitted, so can switch, had to be converted to pass the IVA then all the 15 relays were added I was told. My dealer was the only person I found who would do it. And as he has done it, anything goes wrong it goes back to him

Yep that was their aim.

It's Diode Dynamics, they use DD's kit which allows them to flash sequentially rather than just light up.

And yeah, rears go amber for indicating, but that's more because for some reason over here our indicators have to be amber

Hi Manders. Thanks for the message on YouTube about the lights.

I would be well up for just the rears done as for me thats the cool factor when people are following you (and lets be honest the Mustang is way out in front)

Let me know full details when you can and ill see about getting down there to have them fitted. Would make a decent video ;-)

Would these mods have any insurance implications? How would someone explain them to their insurers (who will have no knowledge of the US cars' lighting). Just asking.

I'd probably just ignore it, they're still lights at the end of the day?

Tbh, this may be one of the few mods where that's the best course of action. There is zero chance of them being replaced in the event of an accident so they're not covering the value and a sequential light can only be more visible than a static one, assuming the tail lights don't obscure the rear indicators.
For the avoidance of doubt I don't recommend keeping secrets from insurers, but... :D

For this Id be willing to take the trip to London with Euro-tunnel and then drive on to Modurstang for the under-seal... could be a worthwhile holiday trip:thumbsup:
The switchback feature to return them to stock would be great with a remote control, would be easy to switch off for technical inspection or when you get pulled over.

Feel free to share some info when you got them;)

I'm up for this Manders and well done mate for investigations so far. I would however be interested is buying a second set of fronts and backs so I can keep originals OEM's to return to stock upon selling/changing to newer model etc. Cheers
