A lesson learned is to avoid the 18 inch base wheels when you buy a Mustang. Why? Because Mustang owners are all trading up to 19s or 20s (or perhaps wider, lighter 18s). That leaves little demand for your take-off 18x8 stock wheels when you move up to 19s yourself.

My 18 inch foundry wheels were for sale for awhile, enduring low ball offers from mostly semi literate people, until finally the right buyer came along last night!

Who knew the bolt pattern was a match for an '84 Tacoma?

Do the S550 18" wheels fit older Mustangs? I think I will be in the same boat shortly.

I saw a YouTube video of someone putting 18" S550 stock wheels on an S197. What I recall is the studs have a different thread pattern so different lug nuts are needed, but the offsets and bolt patterns work. I don't think they fit on Mustangs older than S197s.

My stockers ended up going off to a guy and his son in an older Lexus coupe (SC I think). I don't remember the exact scenario, but the dad was tired of the son driving on near bald and some mismatched tires and they saw my listing and came out. We weren't 100% sure if they would clear, so I jacked the car up and we ended up swapping all four in the parking lot of my apartment.

Yes I believe 2005 or newer mustang will fit. A guy bought my stock base GT rims for his 13' V6

I sold my old FRPP 18x8.5 Black Bullitt Wheels to a guy who drove up from Mexico to pick them up whom was the only one that knew what they fit and not a low baller, too many were either low ballers are did not do research properly reading the wheel specs and not knowing they would not fit at all.
