Are the stock seats covered?

I'm seeing that some stitching is coming apart, would this kind of thing be replaced? If so, is it covered under the 3 year bumper 2 bumper?
If that was the case I'd prob live with it a while and then get a new seat. Any help would be appreciated. I will post a pic later when I get out of work.

So I should wait as long as I can until I get a new one then.

I'd be inclined to at least make the dealer aware of it so they don't claim abuse or natural wear and tear or something later. Let them make the call.

I agree - waiting longer might give the dealer a reason to pin it on wear and tear as opposed to a defect.

This may be an ignorant question, do I have to go to the dealership I bought it from or any ford dealer in this situation?

That's a good question, Dean. :) While we recommend using your purchasing dealer, you may visit any of our dealers for your warranty and maintenance needs.

Send a PM with your best contact info, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealer; let's see how I can best assist.

I recommend taking dated photos of both the exterior and interior before you pay. Carefully examine the stitching and any looseness of the seat fabric.

Was this ever confirmed to be an actual defect rather than the normal wear? I don't mean to start a new discussion on this. I just want to know since my driver seat has a very wrinkled booty print in it

If the leather wrinkles are there at delivery or during the next few days/weeks...it IS a QC problem, not wear! Unless you weigh 300 pounds and get in and out dozens of times a day.

Hey, I beat that benchmark and my seats still look new since Nov. 5th.
