I know this has been discussed in length, but the seats in my GT Premium non recaro car sit way to high for my liking...its all the way down and back but still too high. I swear I saw something once about a mod you can do for it, like switching the bracket around or something, but searched and searched and couldn't find anything...maybe I imagined it

How tall are you? I'm 5'10" and the car fits me perfectly. I'd imagine for someone 6'4" though, that it could get cramped inside.

Im about 6'1...however I can tell you coming from my previous Audi S4, you were able to adjust that seat far down in the car...right now even at its lowest position I feel like I am riding up on the car...just too high for my taste.

I get the same sensation Nick. I drop into the car, but it still feels like a higher position than it should.

Part of that is probably the lower dash position, which in my opinion I prefer. I find the seating position to be perfect.

I feel like when the seat's at the optimal angle for the back, my line of sight is too high and I see more of the visors/roof than I care to see. The solution has been to recline the seat another notch.

If there were a means of lowering the seat further I'd be happy to hear it!

(6'1" 280# here, btw.)

Tilt back and pull the steering wheel out.
If you sit bolt up no amount of lowering is gonna do the trick.

First mod is turn the inside rearview mirror upside down. It moves it closer to the roof and you don't have to duck your head to look under it. After that, yeah, if you're over 6 foot you're probably seeing more of the hood than you are of the sky...

I have the same exact problem and am actually getting upper back pains ever since I bought this car... can't get my eyes at the middle of the windshield unless I lean back like a gangster and cock my upper back forward. I made a video pissing and moaning about this but watched it and couldn't post it anywhere - I got myself pissed off and there was a lot of ranting and raving (and swear words), haha. There just is NO excuse for this seat to not have been designed to be able to go lower. This summer I'm going to either get Recaros (1" lower ther'bouts) or I'm going to be taking the seat out and seeing what I can do about getting it to sit lower. If you look under it, there's about a 1" of clearance so it can go a bit lower. Oddly, the passenger seat sits lower than when the driver seat is all the way down - at the PERFECT height. Perhaps there is a way to switch the brackets. Otherwise, I'm going to have to replace the seats or have brackets made because my back is starting to aggravate me a lot.

Just playing Devil's Advocate here, but after seeing how many responses there are from people unhappy with the seats, I have to ask: didn't you all sit in the car before buying it and realize then that they would be too tall for your liking?
