Noticed that the leather is very easily marked getting in and out at the bulbous part of the seat. I would take a guess in a year's time it could look very worn.Anyone else noticed it, or how to protect the leather.

Seat covers,
Leather restorers,
Don't drive it......

It's gonna wear....they always do. Drivers bolster is always the worst worn in any car.

Just make sure you don't drag your ass in and out and also don't wear jeans with buttons or studs on the ass.

I am two weeks away from 1 year of ownership and just shy of 20K miles.

The leather seats in my car are perfect and have no marks from getting in and out.

If she is wearing jeans or a jacket with metal studs or buttons any seat will take a beating.

I know, they (Ladies) seem to have all sorts of bizarre ornaments on their clothing, each one with the potential to mark seats and other trim. I've got an all bags (inc handbags) in the boot rule, but the odd jean stud slips through if I'm not vigilant.

I've got a pot of Black 'leather seat' Dye that's been an absolute boon in covering up all manner of scrapes and general wear - "Liquid Leather Scuff Master". Brings the seat up like new, one of the best products I've ever bought.

The black Mustang seats unfortunately have that god awful white contrast stitching, which looks fancy when new, but not very practical. Aside from collecting dirt, it will make covering up scuffs and worn/pulled stitching more difficult.

Just looking for a suitable headrest product to stop the missus oily hair products getting all over the seats. Her claim that the oils are good for the seat leather do not amuse!

Seems to be a lot more room in the back of your Mustang than I'm expecting, even in the convertible. Wasn't anticipating room for a pot plant. Were those blinds and the armrests on the options, or are they in the custom pack? :D

Err, I hate to point this out but that seat is not his S550! I am not an expert on classic Mustangs but I think that's a 67 Fastback...correct me if I am wrong Monty.
