423whp with headers I think is a little low don't you think? I thought it was going to be more like 440whp at least. $1000+ for 10whp from headers is not the best deal. Maybe I'll leave headers alone and just do tune and cai

You cannot compare dyno numbers unless they are same day, same dyno. Why do people expect specific numbers? All that matters are the gains over baseline. Nothing else. If he is gaining 40rwhp who cares if the peak number is lower than some other dude on the other side of the county?

No matter how many times we say this guys will still compare dyno numbers that were taken days or months apart, they just dont understand how dyno,s work period.

Thank you
As everyone (you should pay attention to) has said, the only significant number that matters in a dyno session is the delta between your baseline run and the average of all runs after mods.

Glad RET worked it out for you. I'm scheduling with Greg to dyno tune my car as soon as my headers get here which should be this next week.

No offense to mail order tuners, but I prefer an experienced local dyno tuner over a mail order tune. I know for alot of people that is not option based on their geographic location so mail order tuners provide a valuable and essential service.

bobsurvives, it sucks to have to shell out more money to correct the tune, but I think you have a commendable attitude as you didn't push to get a refund from the original tuner. I would have done the same and just ate the cost (knowing that hiccups like this is a risk we take when we modify our beloved cars). Glad its all resolved...go enjoy your car now!

Is that the "range" that most autos are dynoing at? Have not had my 3.15 car on a dyno yet... might go get some baselines soon. Already have the SW catback though, so maybe a couple hp more.
