SCT Xcal4 - no longer providing tech support

I thought this deserves its own thread.

I was told that they are no longer providing technical support for the Xcal4 device. That includes unlocking them. So if anyone plans on buying a locked device, I would think twice about it. The customer service representative told me that they no longer have the 'parts' to unmarry them. I was told that the device is far too outdated.

Are you sure it's the X4? It's only a few years old. I'm sure the X3 is no longer supported, but I can't seem them dropping the X4.

I think maybe this knucklehead representative doesn't know how to read. I specified it was for the 2015 Mustang, the Xcal4. Now he wants the actual serial number.
