I thought "Scheduled to Day Of" meant the day it begins being assembled.

The information here states finished and rolling OFF the line.
So which is it?

My Day is 24th, whats happening on that date?

It's off the end of the line. I.E. The "Blend Date" will show on your Window Sticker .

120190924 should be your blend date based on your scheduled to the day of the 24th. You may see a window sticker as early as the 10th. You are getting really close.

Voodoo, keep me posted if your going to the track soon after pick up. Ill have to live thru you until I finally get a build date, looking like closer to 2020 or possibly early 2020 at this point.

It would be great if Ford built and held these like Chevy did with the launch of the C7. The first run of the C7 were not shipped until all of them were built. For those of us that ordered the first week order banks opened and are still "unscheduled - Material hold", our money is just as green as everyone else who ordered a GT500.

Im just an ordinary guy so i dont expect a car until the end of the 2020 run.
I just bought a Ranger and the GT500 they ordered is set for production october 14th. I saw the guy post over on SVT.
I asked the sales manager how her dealer got an early build date and she said by luck.

I’m sure there are some deals made by knowing somebody on the inside, but there is no luck involved. Luck would mean that Ford has a random number generator choosing the build. There has to be an algorithm. I understand they can’t let the dealers or customers know what that algorithm is, but I refuse to believe that a multi-billion dollar company schedules their builds of low volume specialty vehicles by random chance.

I am a responsible for production scheduling and have worked for a few huge multi billion dollar companies.

You would be surprised on how random, luck and personal favors work into the process.

If i was planning i would know my material constraints of CFTP and other options, then feed the beast according to a distribution by market.
I would also tend to pick the dealer in a market randomly or allow the ERP system to pull the orders.

That’s seems somewhat inefficient and not data driven, but that’s not my expertise. In my world, every decision is based on data analytics, past performance and intelligent forecasting. Hopefully there is someone like you at Ford throwing darts at a dartboard and my number comes up.

Im not sure, maybe if you go for a 2021 they may have worked out some bugs?

Maybe different color options?

Maybe an actually R model.

Just spit balling.

I dont see any real benefit of swapping to 2021 model right now, other than probably save a few thousand dollars if you lock the deal in, and guaranteed to have any updates us early guys suffer from
