Saturday May 9th Indy Race

I'm doing a weeklong auto themed trip with a small group of like-minded people. We'll be at the Soncino Grand Prix on Saturday, 09 May in a box. No idea of where/what size this is. My guess is smaller one as the group isn't that big. Not sure which box yet. I was told if I know anybody in the area, I can invite them to join. Well, I don't know anyone in Indy LOL! But thought I'd throw this out for my fellow 'Stang forum members who might be interested. Reply here or DM and once I have more info I'll advise!

My "guess" you'll still need to buy your way in to the track.

I always go on Friday for practice and qualifying which runs me $20 and free parking (I think).

Then I watch the race on TV Saturday.

If you want to walk the track I can be your guide. It's best to follow an efficient path or else you will get too many Steps in, lol.

I have been in the suites a couple times. AC and catering is nice, but you essentially watch track action on TV monitors, because they are above the pits on the main straight.

A combination of track walk and suites would be ideal.

The group sponsoring this leaves from Rochester, NY a few days before on a tour of auto related stops thru the Midwest.

Day of the race the group hits the Indy museum around 11AM. Other than GTP meeting us there, time to be determined, there's no "everyone" per say. My group will be around 15 or less.
