Sat Nav Updates

Yeah. The on board Sat Nav was a waste of 900 quid. Never use it. Wake and Google are far superior.

Good to have even if you know your way around as the constantly updating traffic situations make Ford Sync 2 look like a 1.99 copy of the UK Atlas available at petrol stations.

I think I must be in the minority who actually doesnt mind the inbuilt Nav.

I think its fine, as far as OEM units go.

I only ticked the nav option as I know it will help resale

Well there is at least two off us. I admit it aint as good as google but I cannot be doing with my phone stuck to my windscreen and then a call coming in just as I hit junction!

way better then Tom Tom, could have google on Android Auto, but I like my Tom Tom speed cameras on the phone

Only gripe I have with the sat nav is that I can't say "Mcdonalds near me" and it'll take me there, I have to find it... Better than nothing i guess

Android auto would be goals, as that's so good and does just that (uses google maps)

I'm not believing a 22 year old gearhead doesn't know where the Mcdonalds near him is... ;)
I'm fine with the SatNav though really took the option for the Shaker upgrade...

I know i'm hungry works, but you have to scroll through everything nearby, not quite the same as "Navigate mcdonalds" -> gives you the Mcdonalds nearby. (Mcdonalds obvs just an example).

Pretty much, but google nav / android nav / apple nav / Waze can all do this, like, search for something and go to it etc...
