Never dealt with that joker, but I know the name. I would put them in the same playing field.

I ordered the car directly from Saleen. I live in Sothern California so I drove to Corona to Saleen HQ and placed my order. I did not want to get it from a dealership because most places had them marked up . Since it is ordered from saleen their is no mark up on the car.

Well, if I were you, I would take another drive over there and see what's going on.
Are you getting a custom paint? If you are, that will take some time. Gotta take the car apart and then make sure paint is perfect. Lots of labor.
I'm surprised they don't send the customer email updates on their vehicle's progress. Good luck!

I will definitely be taking a drive out there next Monday . No I did not get the custom paint. I really wanted the lizstick red but that would have been an additional $25k :doh: just for the paint :( .

Good for you. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
The reason for the 25k for paint is because they have to take the car apart, paint it, make it perfect, and reassemble the car. It's a lot of work and prep time.

I'm just very curious as I was trying to get my hands on a Black Label 302 car, but it seemed I had to jump through loops holding fire sticks. lol
