If you have not already ordered a DIB, you may not to be able to order one now.

DIB has been dropped for the 2017 model.

I think the 2017 model manufacturing starts in September 2016.

If you order a car now, you are looking at 12 to 13 months before it will be manufactured.
Well then.... that makes that decision for me lol:headbonk:

Just to resurrect the SA thread;

Here's mine home straight from the dealership.

First drive tonight was down to Marion swim centre to pick up our daughter. Had to park in the multi story car park BUT was lucky enough to get the widest bay just as you enter the park - and no, it wasn't a disabled park.

Determined to keep this thread active for SA Mustangs.

Went for a drive last night up the SE Freeway to Hahndorf and back via Uraidla and Old Norton Summit Rd.

Fantastic! Very smooth along the freeway at 110 for which I was very relieved. I had convinced myself I had the dreaded drive shaft vibration discussed at length here: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15990.

When I picked the car up two weeks ago the first time I hit 110 was on the new Northern Expressway and I could feel a little vibration that surprised me and again over Easter we headed up that way to the Barossa and again there was a vibration at 110.

Going along the SE Freeway last night it was smooth as and now I recall I've felt a vibration on that NExy before in our Kluger so it was the road not the car.

Coming down the lower section of Old Norton Summit road it has always felt a bit like skiing to me with the flowing bends and last night in the Mustang was fabulous. It felt stable and as nimble as any of my previous smaller cars.

Happier everyday with this car!

Anyone keen to do a Stang meet?
I've been thinking the same thing especially as more cars come into the state. I guess it could be good for those on the wait list too.

I was trying to think of a good venue where we could meet, park the cars together safely and have coffee that was reasonably central.

One place that came to mind is the relatively new cafe 'The Rehouse' at the old Nth Adelaide train station opposite the the golf course on War Memorial road.

I can vouch for the coffee and breakfasts. Would probably need to book however. They have a carpark that would accommodate eight or more cars and there is plenty of parking around.

Any thoughts?

I am up for a meet somewhere...I work shifts though, four days on, four days off. So I am good for most days, but can often be working weekends. The above address sounds ok to me.

Yes likewise.

How about Sunday 10th April?

How early do people like their breakfast? They open at 7:30am.

I might call them to gauge what time they get busy, it would be nice to 'reserve' the carpark for Mustangs that morning if there are enough of us.

I am working for the next three sundays, Michael, just to add to the difficulty.
And working the next two saturdays.
