Hey I'm currently running stock 235 tires a Cobb stage 1 res muff delete and drop in CL filter on my 10 speed performance pack Ecoboost convertible. Did a 0-60 on transbrake of 4.9 seconds. It does quite a bit of spinning I'm the beginning but pulls. I'm just wondering how wide of a tire I should get to maybe run 4sec. Or would that require a down pipe etc. I'm just think if I didn't spin so much I would be low 4's. Any thoughts on this?

you don't want to run a wider tire than the max recommended for your wheel width, that could actually be detrimental. i would start to look into the stickiest summer tire in your size first

technically, the tire will specify the minimum wheel width, going the other way wheel to tire is just a rough guideline.

Go as sticky as you can for the wheel you’ve got.

If you want to upgrade wheels you can go as 11” (or wider) and even cram a 345 tire in there if you’re feeling adventurous.

I'm not sure what size wheels the 235's come on, 8" maybe? While I agree that you need stickier tires and that the tires will have a minimum width, I'm not sure that your question has been answered. If you are asking what will fit on your current wheels, you should be able to get a 255 onto an 8" wheel, maybe a 265. If it's 7 or 7.5" you may have to go smaller. Find a sticky tire you like and find out what size wheel is recommended.
