S550 long block options

So I have a 2020 10 speed. I have in the garage already the following

gen 5 whipple 3L stage 2 , griptech 6 rib 3.00 pulley , MFP crank support

Id1050x

Fore return fuel system with dual 465 pumps and dual regulators

My goal is to be between 950-1050WHP

Will I be okay with this long block from RPG? And should I get the heads ported ?

Yea looking at the specs of the aluminator vs RPG long block. The RPG is a much better purchase.. all I wanted to know if I would be fine with the long block from RPG pushing 1k to the wheels and if porting the heads would be worth the extra $$

The link is fixed now. It pointed to a Regular GT crate engine before, now it goes to the Aluminator page.

Guys its not just a stock long block. Read the specs. 9.5:1 compression also. Mahle Forged coated pistons, Manley Rods. You guys didn't read the specs.

Comes with a 2yr. warranty

Im sure RPG makes great motors...

Still not up to par as the RPG... Has much more better internals than the aluminator

Both only come with Manley H beams, but RPG level 3 gives you Oliver rods.

I saw the price for the blower shortblock is $10,500 not bad. The Ford Racing long block can be had for around $12,500.
The long block for RPG was almost $20k....not sure if its that much better.

Can't wait to see the build when its done!!

The long block in the picture i posted is 14k which is their stage 2 ... 1200whp capable longblock and for another 1500 I can have the heads ported

You should also check out TKM, they seem to have a nice engine build too

Tkm is 4k more than the RPG longblock

Both engines would be comfortable at 1000whp. You can build your own aluminator with all new parts for under 4K
