Too busy roaming about Montana with Boomer at present.
Oh well of course. I will be in Montana for the next few weeks. Too bad they didn't put an s550 in fc5 but we all know Ubisoft is too cheap to pay for a license lol

It's a fvcking video game.............there's a reason why race car drivers drive the real thing and not Forza to get a feel of a car.
There was a racing car driver on Top Gear the other week, who won a Playstation competition playing on the PS4 and got a drive from it, and was signed on and now is a Top Driver

Video games have made me a better driver. If you play actual simulation racers with all the handicaps and driver aids off and a proper wheel with feedback, you can learn a lot about dynamics and performance driving. Actual HPDE are too expensive for most enthusiasts and video games fill the void nicely.

Assetto Corsa nailed the GT. It feels great with my Logitech wheel. I play it on my PC in 4K at 60fps on a 55" screen with a little surround sound system. Great fun.

I keep hearing assetto Corsa being used, I will have to look into it.

I would also say that video games have aided my driving. I played racing games as a kid, long before I ever had my mustang. One thing I learned is brake before the corner not in the corner. That's one that translates very well to real life.

Also to those saying well it's just video games. Of course we know that but it is still fun to have a virtual copy of our cars . Especially when it feels like the real thing.

I play Gran Tourismo 7 and there's S550s in there.

I do like driving the Gr.3 Mustang around the LeMans circuit. The game's visuals are pretty outstanding. And Sony has just released a VR headset that supposedly takes it to a new level, where you can look around like IRL.
