Well here is a later Mustang in GB! :cwl:  :cwl:

I did see that on eBay. The thought briefly crossed my mind but I couldn’t bring myself to do it

That's really nice. I have the Grabber Orange Mach 1 too, and a Lime Gold version.

As for the S550, the only Grabber Blue one to date is the GT500 from Maisto :)

I’ve seen that one. I wonder if it’s really Grabber Blue though if they’re saying 2020. That would mean Velocity Blue 🤷🏻‍♂️. I’ve got 2 GT500’s already (base & CFTP) but might have to add this one too

I've got it, both in 1/18 and 1/24 scale. It's definitely Grabber Blue :)

Enclosed are some pictures of a non-S550 design that might be of interest. These can still be bought on EBay, new and used, at reasonable prices (about $15 ea.)

When I purchased mine, the seller referenced a manufacturing date of late 1990s.

Not an S550 but I do collect car Christmas ornaments. This is the one I bought for this year. I’ll try to remember to get a picture of all of them, I’ve got a good amount of them now.

As promised, here are pics of my other car ornaments. 1989 Batmobile, GTO Judge, Plum Crazy Charger, Ford Torino, Sublime Superbird, Trans Am and Corvette Concept

I hadn't seen any mischievous purple models out there at all until today. Just stumbled upon it by accident. So I thought I'd come share with the group in case anyone's been looking for one. (Hope you can tell in the pics; much like the real car, it's very difficult to capture on camera.) But, the color shifts very much like the true car. I was pleasantly surprised by it, and obviously, I had no choice but to buy it 🫣

Where did you find it?

And I notice it says for 8+ YO. Do they card little kids who try to buy?

I found this one at Target.

That's a great question. They didn't ask for my ID, so I guess it's time to face the fact that I no longer have the youthful appearance I used to.

LOL that made me laugh. Obviously it’s CYA because there’s little parts that kids could choke on if they’re hungry and decide a diecast car looks like a good snack. Never had that issue with my kids but my mom reminds me all the time of the times they had to take me to the ER because I swallowed legos. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Damn. Now a new question for me to ponder. Which is worse: stepping on Legos or passing them?
