Can someone explain to me why I chose this engine again…? Gen 3 coyote engine harness de-loomed and labeled. Next up is fitting it to the Godzilla and re-routing the various sensors to the Godzilla locations.

I give you (I think) the first 2006 Mustang with a 7.3 Godzilla and 10r80. Stock intake (minus throttle body of course) fits under the hood. Likely still will go with the ford performance intake when is actually available.

Ford Performance intake installed. Heater hose routed through valley. Oil cooler block off installed (cooler will not fit…), and transmission updated to mustang spec oil pan and heat shields. Shifter cable also installed and can finally confirm that the paddles work! There are slight differences in the wiring between 17 and 18 that I was worried about.

Hey Zack, you should call this mashup "project FrankenStang" since it has an S197 body, S550 interior and wiring, with a godzilla engine coupled to a 10R80.

Fuel system complete along with heater core plumbing. Custom 90 degree fitting needed for the heater plumbing.

Custom tubular manifolds done and installed. Surprisingly there are no LT header options out there for this application! These manifolds are actually LS turbo manifolds that were modified with a Godzilla flange. The intent is to run these until a set of LT headers can be made.

Radiator fits! 2014 GT500 radiator, 2017 fan assembly, 2009 AC Condenser, 2017 transmission cooler.

So after fixing a motor mount issue and setting the correct driveline angle, it was discovered that the FP intake did NOT fit under the hood. The number 1 intake runner impacted a support beam in the center of the GT500 hood. So that meant out with the FP intake and in with the BTR intake.

EVAP, PCV, AC, and the beginnings of the radiator hoses.

PS: Don’t mind the red plate, just a prototype for the GT500 throttle body adapter.

Ok has anyone seen a S197 running Ford Performance PP2 wheels? Trying to figure out if the front 10.5“ wheel will work with a S197…
