I just had my windshield replaced, and unfortunately, the employees chipped some chunks of paint off the edge of the roof. I'm about to head to Europe, where they use tons of road salt in the winter months. I am under a huge time constraint and was wondering if I could cover this up myself with some paint markers instead of taking it to a body shop. Any advice?

Touch up paint is better than nothing.

But why the time constraint? It’s summertime, you have until the first snow to deal with it. Any salt on the road will be washed away and in the soil from rain.

Bigger question (if it were me) would be - isn't the Company who did the glass install picking up the repair cost for damaging your paint?
