Do you guys think it will be a problem to run my 2015 PP car with nitto 305 Drag radials on the rear with the stock Pzeros on the front? I hate to switch the stock tires back just for one day.

Thats not what they were designed for. You'll have less grip in the turns. If your going to go to a road course might as well be as fast as you possibly can.

I am surprised they would have less grip in the turns. I guess I will need to have my stockers mounted back on.

It's a bad idea to run tires of significantly different handling characteristics. It might understeer initially, and then snap into oversteer very quickly as the softer DR tire structure rolls over past the shoulder and onto the upper sidewall region. If the DR is mounted on relatively narrow wheels for their size - which is probably common for dragstrip-intended cars - this bad behavior tends to be exaggerated.

Any heavy understeer initially will eventually frustrate you ("turn, you bitch") and the snap oversteer at the other end will get your attention in a hurry even if you save a spin from happening . . . got any laundromats with pickup and delivery on speed-dial?

Drag tires do not have the sidewall structure to do this, it can be dangerous to run them, I've seen it done and the dude ripped a tire off the rim.

Thanks for all the advice. I will get my stockers mounted before heading back.
